Searxly Support Console · Last updated 12 July 2026
This policy explains what the Searxly Support Console at support.searxly.app collects and why. We built the Console to be minimal: we ask for as little as possible, and we don't sell your data or run third-party ad or analytics trackers on it.
To operate the Console: verify your address, create and answer support tickets, run the governance board, enforce voting limits and slow modes, prevent spam and abuse, and notify our team of new activity. We use your email to reply to you and to send sign-in codes — nothing else.
We use a single signed, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme. No third-party or advertising cookies.
We share data only with the service providers that run the Console on our behalf: our database host (Neon, in the EU), our application host (Vercel), and our email provider (Resend) to deliver your codes and replies. New support tickets and governance reports trigger a notification to our team (including via a private Discord webhook). We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
If you link a wallet, note that your wallet address and its transactions are already public on the blockchain. We simply read your $SEARXLY balance; linking associates that public address with your account so we can grant voting perks. You can unlink it at any time from your account.
We keep support tickets as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete a ticket or your whole account at any time. Governance posts are a public record; you (or an admin) can remove your suggestions and comments. To request deletion, email security@searxly.app from the address on file, or open a ticket.
You can access, correct, or delete your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Contact us and we'll help.
Accounts use email one-time codes (no passwords to leak), sessions are signed HttpOnly cookies, wallet links use read-only signatures, and data is stored with reputable EU/enterprise providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to collect little and protect it well.
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change. For the Searxly browser and website, see the Searxly Privacy Policy.
